Job summary

Basis is seeking a versatile Video Producer/Editor to own video end-to-end—from pre-production through post. You’ll manage our in-office studio, the podcast produced there, customer testimonials on location, conferences, events, recruiting videos, and product launches.

You’ll also supervise platform-native cuts and collaborate with agencies and freelancers. The ideal candidate brings 4–7 years producing and editing video, strong camera/lighting/audio on-set skills, and a reel showing both

Qualifications

• 4-7 years producing and editing video, preferably for in-house brands or creative teams
• Proficiency with Premiere or Resolve and some After Effects or equivalent
• A reel demonstrating shooting and editing
• Must be in person in Flatiron, NY five days a week when not traveling

Responsibilities

• Own video end to end: pre-production, production, and post
• Manage in-office studio and podcast production
• Produce customer testimonials, conference content, and brand films
• Direct external editors and coordinate agency/freelancer collaborations
• Build scalable video playbooks and repeatable processes
