ABOUT THE ROLE

As Kaleidoscope launches its dedicated video department, we are seeking a post‑production expert to design and document an enterprise‑grade infrastructure. Your goal is to create a seamless ecosystem for a dispersed team of remote freelance editors handling multiple “always‑on” video podcast series. By the end of this engagement, you will have established a secure, organized environment that allows us to quickly onboard editors and production‑services clients.

KEY DELIVERABLES

• Remote Workflow Manual: Create a comprehensive guide for remote editors covering folder structures, naming conventions, and version control.
• DIT & Ingest Protocols: Define the data hand‑off process from production to post‑production.
• Technical Specifications: Establish standard delivery requirements and spec sheets for all series and digital platforms (YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, etc.).
• Software Stack & Tooling: Vet and onboard optimal tools for storage, file transfer, backup/archive, and review/approval.
• Client Interface Standards: Define best practices for interfacing with outside file ingest and delivery for client‑facing work.
