Qualifications

• Student must be currently enrolled at Georgia Highlands College in at least 6 credit hours.
• Working knowledge of video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut
• Basic camera and audio operation skills
• Able to work independently and meet publication deadlines

Responsibilities

• Plan, shoot, and edit video on a regular publishing schedule
• Operate and maintain newsroom production equipment, including PTZ camera, live switching hardware, and audio gear
• Train and support contributors learning video production
• Manage video files, project organization, and archives
• Ensure captioning and accessibility standards are met on published video
• Prepare video for distribution across the website, social platforms, and campus screens
