Qualifications

• Comfortable contacting and interviewing sources, including faculty, staff, and administrators.
• Able to meet deadlines consistently.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop news stories relevant to GHC students
• Assign and edit news contributions from Contributor Corps members
• Report on college announcements, policy changes, events, and student concerns
• Verify facts and confirm sources; uphold standards for accuracy and fairness
• Coordinate with the Written Platform Manager on publication timing and newsletter placement
