This position is also responsible for maintaining logs of activity and changes or behaviors in accordance with facility standards. This position is also responsible for reporting pertinent changes and abnormalities to the appropriate clinical staff. This position is also responsible for maintaining logs of activity and changes or behaviors in accordance with facility standards.CORE FUNCTIONS1. Provides close and continuous, consistent, direct visual camera surveillance for assigned patients. Alerts appropriate clinical staff of any changes and abnormalities.2. Sets up video monitor, including entering patient information. Documents changes in clinical and/or behavioral activity.3. Provides information and summaries to physicians and staff.4. May provide general support to the department, including greeting and assisting patients, visitors, physicians, and ancillary personnel.5. Works under general supervision. Interacts with all levels of staff within the facility, physicians, patients, families and external contacts and vendors.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSHigh school diploma/GED or equivalent working knowledge.Current BLS certification may be required in certain departments.Must possess a working knowledge of medical terminology.
