Asana seeks a Social Media Lead based in Chicago to own our voice across LinkedIn, X, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and Reddit. This hands-on, video-first role blends strategy with content creation, including scripting, shooting, and editing when speed matters.

You'll partner with Marketing, Product, Comms, R&D, and executives to shape a narrative that moves through moments, measuring impact and driving business results. The role is office-based with a hybrid schedule.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years of experience in social media or digital marketing, ideally for a tech, AI-native, or B2B brand.
• Hands-on production skill, video-first — you shoot and edit a video yourself.
• Deep platform fluency across LinkedIn, X, YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and Reddit and a strong sense of how moments move across channels.
• Strong editorial instincts and a clear point of view on what makes content work.

Responsibilities

• Own Asana's social presence across major platforms and develop a content calendar.
• Create and produce original video-first content and collaborate on bigger productions when needed.
• Concept and execute social campaigns tied to product launches and key moments with a consistent narrative.
• Stay ahead of platform shifts and cultural moments to keep Asana’s voice authentic.
• Be a proactive partner to peers, bringing stories and ideas to the table and testing social for business impact.
• Engage with the community and coordinate with PR/comms to handle issues when needed.
• Monitor performance and translate analytics into strategy and prioritization.
• Steward the Asana brand across social and ensure posts reflect core attributes.
