Bangor Daily News is seeking a Multimedia Digital Editor to grow our digital audiences through strong visuals and compelling, data-informed storytelling. You will lead video production, edit multimedia from staff and freelancers, and publish engaging visual narratives across platforms.

You’ll collaborate with the Chief Digital Editor to craft unique layouts, explore new platforms, and push our coverage to stand out locally and nationally.

Qualifications

• Experience creating and editing video and graphics for online platforms.
• Ability to interpret data and build charts, maps, or other visual storytelling elements.
• Ability to package stories for growth in digital audiences.

Responsibilities

• Create and edit multimedia content (video, graphics, charts) for digital platforms.
• Pull multimedia from archives and external sources to enhance stories.
• Design and publish visuals in WordPress and collaborate with editors and developers.
