Job summary

The American Housing Corporation is seeking a video-first content creator to tell one of the most ambitious stories in American industry. You will own ideation, content strategy, and production for a fully integrated homebuilder mass-market audience.

Based in Austin, TX with some travel, you will lead creative direction, develop formats, and manage the end-to-end production process from scripting to distribution, while building a scalable content library across social platforms.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years building and scaling a personal or company social brand.
• Experience in creative direction, storytelling, videography, and editing.
• Passion for homebuilding, technology, or design.
• Ability to lead lean shoots and coordinate larger productions.
• Experience managing content production teams (editors, writers, producers).
• Comfort presenting concepts to executives and incorporating feedback.

Responsibilities

• Ideate new content formats and series that capture the company’s mission and approach to homebuilding.
• Pitch concepts and creative direction to the executive team and turn them into production plans.
• Workshop with Brand to align content roadmap, tone, and style.
• Own content planning across social channels (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn).
• Direct content production from concept to delivery: scripting, filming, editing, and distribution.
• Source and manage freelancers, contractors, and equipment rentals as needed for shoots.
• Balance on-camera hosting with directing, shooting, and editing as formats require.
• Maintain a content library of assets: factory build-out, behind-the-scenes, home tours.
• Distribute content across platforms and tailor formats to each channel’s audience.
• Manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Track content performance and iterate based on audience signals.
