PBS Utah seeks a part-time Video/Film Editor to manage sponsorship and fundraising promos for broadcast and digital platforms. The role supports the sponsorship and development teams, coordinating with in-house producers and editors to ensure timely delivery of assets.
Minimum qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in communications or film, 2 years of non-linear editing experience, and proficiency with Premiere, After Effects, and Photoshop.
As a part of PBS Utah's dynamic sponsorship and development teams,the Video Editor will manage the production of sponsor messages andassist with fundraising assets for broadcast and digitalplatforms.

Bachelor's degree in Communication, Film or a related field, orequivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two yearsof related work experience); two years of demonstrated professionalexperience in the operation of digital/non-linear editing systems;experience with graphics/VFX software; familiarity with CODECs andcompression basics and related software; familiarity with allaspects of television video and audio production including fieldand studio applications is preferred. Familiarity with PBS and FCCrules and regulations guiding content and presentation oftelevision programming for broadcast is required. The ability towork under deadline pressure, to make creative decisions, bemotivated and organized to meet deadlines while assuring hightechnical and aesthetic standards is required.
