Hammer Media, the team behind Caleb Hammer and Financial Audit, is hiring a Video Editor to support Hammer Elite membership content.

You will edit long-form YouTube episodes across multiple shows, shape pacing and storytelling, integrate b-roll, music, and graphics, and deliver polished cuts that meet high-quality standards. Relocation assistance is offered for the right candidate. Join our East Austin team for a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Qualifikationen

• 2+ years of video editing experience, ideally with YouTube-first content.
• Strong long-form YouTube editing instincts: storytelling, pacing, structure and retention.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Experience with Adobe After Effects and Adobe Photoshop.
• Expertise in color grading, audio cleanup, and export/deliverables for YouTube.
• Experience mentoring other editors.
• Highly organized and comfortable in a fast-moving production environment.

About the Role

Our membership platform, Hammer Elite, serves tens of thousands of paying members across multiple tiers and runs a daily content engine of exclusive shows, bonus content, and community programming. Hammer Media is hiring aVideo Editorto help with post-production across our membership content.

What You’ll Do:

Edit and Deliver High-Quality Episodes:

• Edit long-form YouTube content across multiple shows
• Shape pacing, structure, and storytelling to maximize viewer retention
• Integrate b-roll, music, graphics, and motion elements to elevate the final product
• Deliver polished final cuts that meet Hammer Media’s quality standards

Optimize Post-Production + Packaging:

• Build and maintain organized workflows, templates, and editing guidelines for speed and repeatability
• Ensure proper file management, version control, and asset organization
• Create thumbnails and titles with a testing mindset, continuously optimizing for the highest engagement
• Analyze video performance metrics like CTR, retention, and watch time
• Use insights to refine editing style and improve future videos

• 2+ years of video editing experience, ideally with YouTube-first content
• Strong long-form YouTube editing instincts: storytelling, pacing, structure, and retention
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro
• Experience with Adobe After Effects and Adobe Photoshop
