WGME CBS13 in Portland, ME is seeking an experienced Part-Time News Editor to edit video for daily news, programs and specials. You will take feeds from bureaus, work with anchors and producers, and help craft compelling visuals for newscasts while meeting tight deadlines.
The ideal candidate brings a college degree or related experience and knowledge of Final Cut Pro or Avid NewsCutter XP. This role emphasizes collaboration and professionalism in a fast-paced newsroom.

The base hourly compensation range for this role is $17.50 to $18.54. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidates’ relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. Full time positions are eligible for benefits that include participation in a retirement plan, life and disability insurance, health, dental and vision plans, flexible spending accounts, sick leave, vacation time, personal time, parental leave and employee stock purchase plan.
