Job summary

Gekko Marketing is seeking a motivated Video Editor to craft storytelling-led, visually engaging content across platforms, shaping material from raw footage through final delivery with both creative and technical precision.

The ideal candidate has 2–5 years of hands-on experience, proficiency in Premiere Pro and After Effects, and a strong eye for color, motion, and post-production workflows. Bachelor's degree preferred and a passion for fashion marketing trends is a plus.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree preferred.
2–5 years of hands-on video editing, post-production and/or motion design.
Proficiency in Premiere Pro and After Effects; Photoshop/Creative Suite a plus.
Strong understanding of color grading, visual effects, motion graphics and post-production workflows.
Strong organizational, project and file management skills with attention to detail.
Collaborative mindset with strong communication and eagerness to learn from feedback.
Ability to adapt to changing technologies and industry trends.
Strong creative sensibility aligned with fashion marketing trends.

Responsibilities

Edit video, color correct and grade, and create title designs and motion graphics.
Assist in conceptualizing and storyboarding, translating briefs into videos and graphics.
Shape content across platforms with the creative lead and art director.
Build rough assemblies and maintain clear timelines and labeling.
Keep project files organized and manage storage across drives and cloud.
Manage revisions, versioning and delivery per specs and client feedback.
Stay updated on emerging editing tools, platform requirements and best practices.
