Job summary

The Film Market is seeking a Video Editor to craft compelling footage in alignment with the creative direction of our Post-Production leadership. This full-time role requires editing raw footage across projects while upholding our editing standards and brand voice.

Ideal candidates bring at least 2 years of professional editing experience, strong knowledge of video production, and proficiency in Adobe CC (Premiere Pro, Photoshop).

Qualifications

• 2 years of professional video editing experience required.
• Working knowledge of video production.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud apps, particularly Premiere Pro and Photoshop.
• Knowledge of digital media codecs, image types, resolutions, and frame rates.
• After Effects and motion graphics experience preferred.
• Strong visual sensibility and pacing.
• Experience editing YouTube viral content a plus.
• Ability to multitask across projects and apply notes from management.
• G-suite proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Take raw video footage from various projects and edit to fulfill the creative vision.
• Apply company's editing standards under Director of Post-Production guidance.
• Collaborate with Production department leadership to meet deadlines.
