We’re on the lookout for a Video Editorto join our expanding team and drive our company’s growth!

The Challenge

We’re growing fast and testing creative at an even faster pace. To keep up, we’re looking for a video editor who not only knows how to cut and polish but also understands what converts. You'll be at the heart of our creative engine — producing performance-driven content for Meta, Google, and YouTube, often using UGC, AI, and motion. If you love blending storytelling with data, and thrive in a high-output, feedback-rich environment, this is your kind of challenge.

Day in the Life of a Video Editorat GT Ecom

  • You’ll edit high-performance video creatives for platforms like Meta, Google, and YouTube — including UGC edits, AI-generated ads, motion graphics, and branded explainers
  • You’ll design static ads as needed, especially for Meta and Google campaigns, using tools like Photoshop, Illustrator, or Figma
  • You’ll collaborate closely with copywriters, designers, and media buyers to turn briefs into high-converting creatives
  • You’ll contribute to creative ideation and performance-focused concepting before production begins
  • You’ll incorporate AI tools into your daily workflow to boost quality, speed, and creative output
  • You’ll manage versions, assets, and deliverables using Wrike (or a similar project management tool)

Success Drivers in the first 90 days for this Role

  • Significantly reduce turnaround time while maintaining or improving creative quality.
  • Deliver high-performing ad creatives that contribute to better ROAS and engagement.
  • Work seamlessly across both video and static formats depending on campaign needs.
  • Integrate into Wrike-based workflows and leverage AI tools already in use (or bring their own).

Your Team When You Join Us

As aVideo Editor, you’ll be part of our Marketing team, working alongside a group of international creatives and strategists. You’ll report directly to our Creative Lead and collaborate closely with copywriters, designers, and media buyers to produce high-converting content. We move fast, test constantly, and support each other across time zones to deliver results.

We would love to hear from you if…

  • You have hands-on experience in performance marketing or creative production for DTC/eCommerce brands, or have worked at an agency on Meta and Google ad campaigns
  • You have 2+ years of experience in video editing using Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects (Final Cut Pro experience is a bonus)
  • You can create compelling static visuals using Photoshop, Illustrator, and have basic Figma knowledge
  • You currently use AI tools in your editing and creative process (e.g., ChatGPT, Runway, Kling AI, Claude, Gemini, etc.)
  • You have experience editing UGC-style ads and know how to make content feel native and engaging
  • You’re intuitive with a strong eye for visual storytelling and motion graphics (animation experience is a plus)
  • You’re proactive, thrive in fast-paced environments, and love solving creative problems
  • You’re a clear communicator who can work well asynchronously (some time zone overlap is a plus, but not required)

  5. Trial Task- After the interview with the hiring manager, you will be invited to take a short Trial task to showcase your skills.
  6. Offer Discussion - If all goes well, we'll discuss the offer and invite you to our pre-onboarding process.
  7. Pre-Onboarding Process
    1. Background Check: Verification of your identification and declared address.
    2. Reference Check: We’ll contact your three references for their feedback.
  8. Onboarding: Once all checks are completed, we’ll initiate the onboarding process.
