We are seeking a talented freelance Video Editor to support high-end commercial and brand content projects. This is a project-based opportunity with an immediate start and the potential for consistent work through the end of the year.

Start: Within 1-2 weeks

Duration: Through year-end

Schedule: Approximately 20-40 hours per week, varying by project workload

Location: New York

Rate: $70-80/hr.

The Opportunity

You will join a busy post-production team to support upcoming high-profile content projects. Initial work includes a 3-4 week production sprint beginning in mid-September, followed by another major project in October. Hours may increase as project needs grow, with the goal of keeping the selected editor engaged through year-end.

What You'll Do

• Edit high-end commercial, branded, and regulated-industry content from rough assembly through client-ready final delivery.
• Create multi-format cutdowns, including :60, :30, :15, and social versions.
• Collaborate closely with producers and the broader post-production team.
• Support projects that may require familiarity with review and approval workflows in regulated industries.
• Manage project-based workloads and shifting priorities while maintaining exceptional creative and technical standards.

What You Bring

• A strong reel demonstrating high-end commercial or brand editing work.
• Advanced Adobe Premiere Pro experience; Premiere is required.
• Experience taking edits from initial assembly through polished final delivery.
• Ability to produce multiple cutdowns and platform-specific versions efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication in a fast-moving project environment.
• Experience in pharma, healthcare, or another regulated industry is a plus, but not required.
• Familiarity with medical, legal, or regulatory review processes is a bonus.
• Sound mixing and color-correction experience is a plus.
• Work will be performed on a project basis, with hours flexing according to production needs.
• Use of your own computer is preferred, if available.
• Selected candidates will be asked to sign a standard NDA and disclose any active engagements with directly competing brands in regulated industries.
