About the role

Breaking News ABA is looking for a curious, proactive video editor who enjoys turning raw footage into clear, engaging videos and finding smart ways to use AI in the editing process.

You will edit videos recorded by a member of our team. We value good judgment, creative ideas, and the initiative to learn and improve. Some hands‑on editing experience is needed, but you do not need years of professional experience to apply.

What you will do

• Turn team-recorded footage into polished videos with strong pacing and clear storytelling.
• Add captions, titles, graphics, and supporting visuals where useful.
• Clean up audio and make basic color adjustments.
• Use AI tools for tasks such as transcription, captions, rough cuts, and audio cleanup, while checking the accuracy and quality of the final work.
• Collaborate with our team, respond to feedback, organize project files, and meet agreed deadlines.
• Bring ideas for improving our videos and making the editing process more efficient.

What you will bring

• Some practical video editing experience and work samples you can share. Personal, school, or freelance projects are welcome.
• Comfort with an editing tool such as Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or a comparable tool.
• Hands‑on familiarity with AI tools and an interest in learning new ones.
• A good eye for pacing, detail, and visual storytelling.
