Job summary

Two Circles in Kansas City is seeking a passionate Video Editor for our Studio team. You will craft engaging video content for major clients, shaping stories through video and animation that connect emotionally with audiences and evolve our Studio offering.

The role requires 3+ years in video editing, with strong Premiere Pro, After Effects, and color grading familiarity. A portfolio focused on football content is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of professional video editing experience with strong skills in Premiere Pro.
• Proficiency in After Effects for motion graphics and color grading knowledge in DaVinci Resolve is a plus.
• Portfolio demonstrating storytelling through video, with football content preferred.
• Ability to work with brand guidelines and meet tight deadlines.
• Independent worker with strong communication to collaborate with internal and external contacts.

Responsibilities

• Edit and finish video content from raw footage to final delivery across client campaigns, owning cuts, versions, and timelines.
• Collaborate with Client Lead and Post-Production team to maintain high quality.
• Work with producers, clients, and Studio team through feedback rounds.
• Maintain quality control and consistent tone across projects.
• Deliver assets in multiple formats and keep organized project files.
• Brainstorm and execute video concepts aligned with brand identities.
• Coordinate deliverables and meet production timescales; help improve Studio workflows.

The role

We are seeking a passionate Video Editor to join our Studio team in Kansas City. You will create exceptional video content for our growing list of clients, telling captivating stories through video and animation that emotionally connect with an audience, and help shape the evolution of our Studio offering.

Key responsibilities

• Edit and finish video content from raw footage to final delivery across client campaigns, owning cuts, versions, and timelines
• Work with the Client Lead and Post-Production team to keep quality consistently high
• Collaborate closely with producers, clients and Studio team members through feedback rounds
• Maintain quality control and the right tone and style across different client projects
• Prepare and deliver assets in multiple formats (aspect ratios, cutdowns, captions, platform specs), with organized project files and clean handoffs
• Brainstorm and execute video concepts that align with client's brand and contribute to team ideation sessions
• Coordinate deliverables for each piece of content and meet production timescales
• Help improve Studio workflows and the Studio offering

Requirements

• Three or more years of professional video editing experience with strong skills in Premiere Pro
• Proficiency in After Effects for motion graphics
• Working knowledge of DaVinci Resolve for color grading a plus
• A portfolio showing original thinking and the ability to tell engaging stories through video, particularly in football
• In-depth understanding of current editing trends
• Experience taking content from ideation to execution and contributing to the creative process
• Comfortable working with brand guidelines and meeting tight deadlines
• Passion for football and its connection to wider cultural themes
• Independent worker with strong communication skills to collaborate with internal and external contacts

The range below represents the low and high end of the base salary someone in this role may earn as an employee of Two Circles in the United States. Salaries will vary based on various factors including but not limited to professional and academic experience, training, associated responsibilities, and other business and organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of our total compensation package for employees. Salary decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each hire.
