Job summary

SaidGig is seeking a senior visual designer to lead video and motion content strategy, combining hands-on editing, motion design, concept development, product animation, and experimental storytelling across launches, social content, brand campaigns, and product-focused creative.

You will translate complex AI and software concepts into clear visuals, collaborating with Brand, Marketing, Product, and Creative teams in a remote, full-time role with core responsibilities on the team.

Job description

Lead the visual direction for video and motion content that brings AI, software, and product stories to life. This role combines hands-on editing, motion design, concept development, product animation, and experimental visual storytelling across launches, social content, brand campaigns, and product-focused creative.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the visual direction and execution of high-quality video and motion content.
• Create polished UI and product animations featuring interfaces, dashboards, terminals, code, workflows, and cinematic transitions.
• Develop original visual concepts from the initial idea rather than relying only on existing storyboards.
• Create experimental brand motion using particles, data effects, distortion, depth, 3D elements, and generative techniques.
• Translate complex AI and software concepts into visuals that are clear, technical, and engaging.
• Collaborate closely with Brand, Marketing, Product, and Creative teams on product launches, campaigns, and storytelling initiatives.

Qualifications

• Strong portfolio demonstrating motion design, product animation, and technology-focused visual work.
• Advanced proficiency with After Effects.
• Strong experience using Figma.
• Experience with Cinema 4D, Blender, or comparable 3D tools.
• Strong video editing skills using Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar software.
• Ability to independently develop creative concepts and carry projects from initial idea through final execution.
• Strong visual judgment and the ability to create polished work with a technical, modern, and futuristic aesthetic.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with product and real-time motion tools such as Rive, Lottie, or Jitter.
• Experience with generative AI creative tools such as Runway, Higgsfield, Kling, Midjourney, or similar platforms.
• Familiarity with node-based generative workflows using tools such as ComfyUI, Weavy, or Flora.
• Experience with procedural or generative technologies such as Houdini, TouchDesigner, p5.js, Three.js, shaders, or comparable tools.

Compensation

Annual compensation ranges from $90, 000 to $150, 000.
