• Ability to independently develop concepts from idea to execution.
• Polished, technical, futuristic visual taste.

Responsibilities

• Lead the visual direction and execution of high-quality video and motion content.
• Create polished UI and product animations, including interfaces, dashboards, terminals, code, workflows, and transitions.
• Develop visual concepts from scratch, not just follow storyboards.
• Create experimental brand motion using particles, data effects, depth, 3D, and generative elements.
• Translate complex AI and software concepts into clear, technical visuals.
• Collaborate with Brand, Marketing, Product and Creative teams on launches and campaigns.

The Role

micro1 is looking for a Video Editor Lead with a strong motion design background and a sharp eye for modern tech and AI aesthetics.

This role goes beyond editing. We’re looking for someone who can develop visual concepts, shape the motion language, and bring product stories to life across launches, social content, brand campaigns, and product storytelling.

What you’ll do

1. Lead the visual direction and execution of high-quality video and motion content.
2. Create polished UI and product animations, including interfaces, dashboards, terminals, code, workflows, and cinematic transitions.
3. Develop visual concepts from scratch, not just execute existing storyboards.
4. Create more experimental brand motion using particles, data effects, distortion, depth, 3D, and generative elements.
5. Translate complex AI and software concepts into visuals that feel clear, technical, and engaging.
6. Work closely with Brand, Marketing, Product, and Creative teams on launches and campaigns.

Requirements

1. Strong portfolio in motion design, product animation, and tech-focused visual work.
2. Advanced proficiency in After Effects and strong experience with Figma.
3. Experience with Cinema 4D, Blender, or similar 3D tools.
4. Strong editing skills using Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar.
5. Ability to independently develop concepts and take work from idea to final execution.
6. Strong visual taste with a polished, technical, futuristic aesthetic.

Preferred

1. Product and real-time motion tools such as Rive, Lottie, or Jitter.
2. Generative AI tools such as Runway, Higgsfield, Kling, Midjourney, or similar.
3. Node-based generative workflows such as ComfyUI, Weavy, or Flora.
4. Procedural and generative tools such as Houdini, TouchDesigner, p5.js, Three.js, shaders, or similar.
