Job summary

ESSC is seeking a Manager, Digital Content in Irvine, CA to oversee day-to-day content planning, story development, and editorial execution. You will supervise Digital Reporters, Video Producers, and Editors, guiding projects from concept through production, ensuring alignment with ESSC’s mission and values.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• Experience leading creative teams and supervising direct reports.
• Experience developing stories, scripts and concepts across formats.

Responsibilities

• Lead content intake, planning, and workflow management for Marketing & Communications.
• Supervise Digital Reporters and Video Producers; coach and develop staff.
• Ensure content aligns with brand, legal, privacy, and accessibility standards.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to develop compelling stories and programming.
• Oversee pre-production planning, interviews, and field shoots as needed.
• Maintain visibility into content pipelines, timelines, and project status.
