Role Description

The purpose of this role is to bridge the gap between Sales, Solution, and Product teams by defining Go-To-Market strategies, developing client engagement playbooks, and creating effective approaches for pitching Harmonic solutions across Latin America. The BDR will collaborate with sales account managers and must be a strong team player.

Ideal candidates will have experience in business development or outbound prospecting, enjoy challenges, thrive in target-driven environments, and succeed as part of a team. Comfort in speaking to C-level customers, presenting to large audiences, and staying updated on industry trends and technologies is essential.

This position offers growth, learning, and evolution opportunities within a leading industry company providing cutting-edge video SaaS technologies to major media clients worldwide.

You can be based anywhere in LATAM, preferably near major international airports.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Supporting Sales teams on advanced projects (SaaS, monetization)
  • Generating new business through proactive lead generation and creating qualified SaaS and video appliance opportunities
  • Developing strategic partnerships to expand Harmonic’s ecosystem
  • Defining Go-To-Market strategies for key markets
  • Understanding business needs and researching sales targets (verticals, customer segments)
  • Coordinating with key account managers to foster long-term growth
  • Driving growth via inbound and outbound prospecting efforts to generate high-value leads
  • Creating sales and marketing materials (decks, tools)
  • Continuously updating personal knowledge through training and internal resources

What You Need To Succeed

  • Experience in sales environments, including lead generation and complex B2B/SaaS sales
  • Proactive business development skills
  • Strong listening and customer relationship skills
  • Adaptability, curiosity, and comfort in fast-paced environments
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish; Portuguese is a plus
  • Knowledge of OTT workflows is advantageous
  • Enthusiasm, positivity, and teamwork orientation

Travel

  • Willingness to travel to meet clients and colleagues

Educational Requirements

  • Engineering or Business degree preferred
