Job summary

Pima County Attorney's Office in Tucson, AZ is seeking Victim Advocates for Juvenile and Felony units. You will provide crisis intervention services, inform victims of their rights, and guide them through the criminal justice process.

You will liaise with law enforcement, attorneys, and social service agencies to support victims and witnesses. Minimum qualifications include a bachelor's degree in social or behavioral sciences and at least one year of related experience; bilingual English/Spanish

Qualifications

• Experience or coursework in victim services or crisis response.
• Desire to work in criminal justice settings with victims/witnesses.

Responsibilities

• Responds to requests to provide crisis intervention for crime victims/witnesses.
• Assist clients with immediate needs: safety, housing, medical, legal services.
• Educates clients on rights and processes, and accompanies them to court when needed.
• Document services and refer to community resources; train volunteers as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality and coordinate with law enforcement and attorneys.
