Surfside is a technology company providing the infrastructure, APIs, and software that businesses need to build custom ad platforms for personalized commerce, sponsored ads and full funnel media campaigns. We help retailers unlock new value to personalize, grow, and monetize their customer experiences while empowering brands and advertisers with a new performance channel to reach high-intent consumers when and where they purchase.
About the role:
Based out of our New York office or remote within North America, the VP, Retail Partnerships will be focused on driving product, growth and further monetization for our publisher, ecommerce and retail partnerships. In addition, this will include initiating relationships with potential partners, assessing business opportunities, and driving the agreements, integrations, and executions necessary to maximize the overall opportunity.
You will help shape our product roadmap, and partner with retailers to unlock the value of their customer data and onsite retail media inventory. Responsibilities include ownership of Surfside’s retail media inventory and adoption as well as executive leadership of Surfside’s strategic retail partnerships. You will manage a high-performing team, who handle the day-to-day monetization and partner management responsibilities.
The ideal candidate has experience creating and scaling technical solutions, having worked closely with retailers or at a retailer. We are looking for someone who thrives on having a significant impact and building new capabilities through partnerships and innovation. This role requires a self-starter with a passion for delivering results and strong interest in sales, strategy, marketing, analytics, and business development.
An expert knowledge and proven experience of Retail / Commerce Media and Digital monetization programs is essential.
