LPL Financial is seeking a Vice President, IAS Consulting, within LPL Business Solutions. This role focuses on strategy, development, adoption, and utilization of LPL’s Business Solutions for the Independent Advisor channel.

The VP will collaborate with internal stakeholders to execute and drive results, including field engagements and executive-level activities. Ideal candidates bring 7+ years in financial services, 5+ years in external field sales, and a proven leadership track record.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 7+ years experience in the financial services industry.
• 5+ years experience in external field sales.
• Strong understanding of sales principles with a track record of achieving targets.
• Proven experience as a Sales Manager or in a similar leadership role.

Job Overview:

Vice President (VP), IAS Consulting, LPL Business Solutions, is responsible for the strategy, business development, adoption, and utilization of LPL’s suite of Business Solutions with a focus within the Independent Advisor channel at LPL. The VP will work directly with LPL Financial advisors, enterprises, and prospects. The VP is responsible for partnering with internal stakeholders to execute and drive results.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree


• Ability to travel up to 25%


• 7+ years experience in the financial services industry


• 5+ years experience in external field sales


• Strong understanding of sales principles and practices, with a track record of achieving sales targets


• Proven experience as a Sales Manager or in a similar leadership role

Preferences:

• Deep understanding of the competitive financial services landscape, with a point of view on how investing in embedded services can create mutually beneficial outcomes for advisors and their firms.


• Proven ability to coach and develop talent while also attracting additional high-quality talent to support growth


• Experience consulting and understanding challenges/opportunities of small business owners, Enterprises, RIAs, and Large Enterprises Groups.


• Strong presentation skills, experience and comfort working with financial advisors and escalated issues.


• Strong relationship and people management skills.


• Strong communication skills, time and priority management.

Pay Range:

$197,100.00-$328,400.00/year

The pay salary range is inclusive of base salary and potential sales incentive compensation based upon the applicable incentive compensation plan for this position. Base salary is determined on several factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location. Incentive compensation is dependent on achievement of goals set forth in the incentive compensation plan.
