Job Summary

Responsible for managing the Zego Product line, including associated teams, product roadmaps, and related workstreams, reporting directly into the President. They will be responsible for building teams and processes to sustain current product solutions and prepare for future expansion into new verticals. This leader will develop a scalable strategy for product development and software delivery, focused on market feedback, competitive benchmarking, as well as strategic alignment with business leaders throughout the organization.

What Part Will You Play?

  • Product Strategy & Vision:

    • Develop and articulate a clear product vision and strategy aligned with the company’s goals and market opportunities.

    • Drive the product roadmap, ensuring it addresses customer needs, competitive dynamics, and business objectives.

    • Be familiar with the Zego Product line, this position requires knowledge of all aspects of the software delivery life cycle. This includes, go to market, sales enablement, development and supporting IT ecosystem, architecture and information security, product operations, and legal dependencies.

  • Leadership & Team Management:

    • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of product managers and associates.

    • Foster a collaborative and innovative culture within the product management team.

  • Market & Customer Insights:

    • Conduct market research and analyze customer feedback to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.

    • Engage with customers, partners, and industry experts to understand their needs and incorporate their feedback into product development.

  • Product Development & Execution:

    • Oversee the product lifecycle from concept through launch and post-launch performance.

    • Ensure timely delivery of product releases while maintaining high quality and alignment with business objectives.

    • Responsible for understanding the development requirements for product delivery and actively planning and distributing the work to product owners within the department along with functionalized development teams. They will work with their team to identify gaps and process changes, to improve the effectiveness of the software product strategy. Success in this position will be measured qualitatively by the successful delivery of products and the scalability of the systems implemented and quantitatively by the output, timeliness, and efficiency of product delivery.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:

    • This individual will collaborate closely with peers in functionalized areas of the business on strategic planning, product launch, systems, and the ongoing advancement of the business and drive a culture of innovation and experimentation across all of our cross-functional teams. Additionally this person will determine customer research and product design needs as we accelerate our growth.

    • Facilitate effective communication and coordination between product management and other departments.

  • Performance Measurement & Optimization:

    • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and drive continuous improvement.

    • Analyze product performance data and make data-driven decisions to optimize product offerings and enhance user satisfaction.

  • Innovation & Industry Trends:

    • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge.

    • Advocate for and implement new ideas and technologies to enhance the product suite and address evolving market needs.

What Are We Looking For in This Role?

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree, Combination of relevant training and/ or experience in lieu of degree

  • Typically a minimum of 12 years related professional experience including a minimum of 5 years experience in a supervisory position
