The Vice President of Enterprise Products at SoundHound AI oversees all aspects of product vision, strategy, and execution for Amelia and AIOps products across multiple verticals. These include conversational AI and agentic AI solutions tailored for the healthcare, retail, telecommunications, banking/financial services/insurance (BFSI), energy/utilities, and hospitality sectors, as well as conversational AI automation offerings designed to streamline HR and IT processes. In this capacity, the role ensures product lines align with overall business objectives and deliver meaningful outcomes for clients and partners.

In this role, you will:

Strategic Product Leadership

1. Guide the development of a unified product vision that leverages conversational and agentic AI capabilities to address market needs in target verticals.
2. Set long-term roadmap priorities and ensure alignment with broader company goals, working closely with executive leadership to refine strategy.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

1. Partner with engineering, data science, sales, marketing, and customer success teams to validate product concepts and bring new features to market.
2. Direct product lifecycle management, including ideation, development, launch, and post-launch optimization.

Market and Customer Insight

1. Oversee market research initiatives to identify evolving customer needs, industry trends, and competitive positioning in healthcare, retail, telecommunications, BFSI, energy/utilities, hospitality, as well as HR and IT domains.
2. Integrate insights from market data and customer feedback into continuous product improvements.

Team Development and Management

1. Lead, mentor, and scale the product team, ensuring a high level of expertise and professional growth.
2. Establish performance metrics and foster a culture of excellence, accountability, and innovation.

Revenue and Budget Accountability

1. Assume responsibility for financial performance of the product portfolio, setting revenue and budget targets in collaboration with finance and executive leadership.
2. Monitor product performance, resource allocation, and return on investment, adjusting strategies to optimize outcomes.

Compliance and Risk Management

1. Ensure that product offerings adhere to regulatory requirements in all relevant industries, with particular attention to data privacy and security in healthcare, BFSI, and other sensitive verticals.
2. Implement risk assessment and mitigation measures to safeguard product and business integrity.

Stakeholder Engagement

1. Build and maintain strategic relationships with key customers, partners, and external stakeholders, effectively communicating the product roadmap and its impact.
2. Represent the product portfolio at industry events, conferences, and in thought leadership activities, advancing the organization’s brand and reputation.

4. You're adept at managing and mentoring high-performing product management teams.
5. You have exceptional communication, decision-making, and analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize complex data into actionable strategies.

This position is available for remote work across most of the United States. ** SoundHound AI DOES NOT offer employment in Alabama, Alaska, Delaware, Iowa, Maine, Mississippi, Missouri, New Hampshire, North Dakota, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Vermont, West Virginia, Wisconsin, and Wyoming. Regardless of workplace arrangement, employees within a 60-mile radius of a SoundHound AI office are expected to work from the office on three pre-scheduled, company-wide “core days” per month to encourage cross-team connection and in-person collaboration.

The estimated salary for this position is $235,000 - $275,000 plus equity. In addition to salary and equity, you will receive comprehensive healthcare, paid time off, and other benefits. Our recruiting team will provide a specific salary range based on location and years of experience.
