New Edge Associates a Talent Acquisition Firm seeks a VP Private Client Group Banker to develop and manage relationships with HNW/UHNW clients across private banking, investments, wealth management, lending, and credit. The role focuses on expanding assets and servicing sophisticated clients in the U.S.

and Latin America. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in banking/investments, a strong network, and licenses (FINRA SIE, Series 7/66 or 63/65).

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of banking, investment, and lending experience.
  • Strong background in Private Banking, Private Wealth Management, or HNW/UHNW relationship management.
  • Proven ability to acquire and develop new HNW and UHNW client relationships.
  • Experience providing investment and wealth management solutions to sophisticated clients.
  • Active FINRA SIE, Series 7, and Series 66 OR Series 63 and 65 licenses required.
  • MBA, JD, CFA, or CFP preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop new HNW and UHNW client relationships and generate new assets for the Bank.
  • Manage and expand an existing portfolio of private banking relationships.
  • Identify new business opportunities through personal networks, referrals, centers of influence, and direct prospecting.
  • Advise clients across their overall balance sheet, including investments, wealth planning, deposits, lending, credit, mortgages, and CRE financing.
  • Manage the complete business development process from prospect identification through account funding.
  • Develop long-term relationships with clients, families, and multiple generations.
  • Conduct portfolio reviews, client presentations, and ongoing relationship meetings.
  • Identify opportunities to increase share of wallet through appropriate banking, investment, lending, and wealth management solutions.
  • Partner with investment, credit, operations, and product specialists to provide customized financial strategies.
  • Develop investment recommendations based on client objectives, liquidity needs, risk tolerance, and investment horizon.
  • Explain complex investment strategies, financial products, and market conditions clearly to clients.
  • Identify and originate lending opportunities, including term loans, securities-based lending, and commercial and residential real estate financing.
  • Analyze client creditworthiness and assist in structuring complex credit proposals.
  • Prepare and present credit recommendations for appropriate approval committees.
  • Maintain an active pipeline of investment and non-investment opportunities and accurately report business development activity.
  • Maintain regular contact with clients and prospects throughout the U.S. and Latin America, including markets such as Mexico, Colombia, and Peru.
  • Identify and appropriately manage credit, operational, legal, reputational, and compliance risks.
  • Maintain accurate and timely client information and activity within CRM systems.
  • Ensure adherence to BSA/AML, KYC, and other applicable U.S. and international banking requirements.
  • Maintain a high standard of professionalism and deliver a first-class private banking experience.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced VP Private Client Group Banker to develop, manage, and expand relationships with High Net Worth (HNW) and Ultra High Net Worth (UHNW) clients. This individual will serve as a trusted advisor, providing customized solutions across private banking, investments, wealth management, lending, and credit.

The ideal candidate is a proven private banking professional with an established network, strong business development capabilities, and experience advising sophisticated domestic and Latin American clients. This is a highly client-facing and production-oriented position requiring the ability to generate new relationships, grow assets, and deepen existing relationships across the full financial needs of the client.

  • Develop new HNW and UHNW client relationships and generate new assets for the Bank.

  • MBA, JD, CFA, or CFP preferred.
  • Bloomberg experience preferred.
  • Excellent business development, presentation, communication, and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to independently meet with clients, network, travel, and generate new business.
