Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in private banking or two banks, with a track record of growth
• Proven ability to generate substantial loans, deposits, and fee income
• Conversational understanding of credit and lending up to $50 million for entities
• Bachelor's degree required
• Salesforce proficiency and advanced Excel skills
• Experience in high-end banking or private wealth management preferred
• Strong client engagement and relationship-building skills
• Series 6 or Series 7 certification preferred

Overview

Position Title: Private Banker

We are partnering with a highly respected financial institution that is expanding its Private Banking team throughout the Western United States. This client-facing role targets affluent individuals, business owners, and trusted advisors. You will deliver customized banking, lending, and wealth management solutions backed by a collaborative team of specialists. You will have autonomy to grow your portfolio, cultivate referral partnerships, and provide an exceptional client experience with strong earning potential and long-term career advancement.

Salary Range: $160,000 - $210,000+ / Year DOE

Responsibilities

• Develop new client relationships and enhance existing ones through proactive outreach
• Engage with referral sources, including CPAs and attorneys, to expand business opportunities
• Track and manage client data using Salesforce to ensure effective follow-up and relationship management
• Respond promptly to client needs and inquiries, facilitating timely solutions
• Conduct business development activities to identify and pursue new opportunities

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in two or fewer banks, unless demonstrating proven strategic growth
• Track record of generating $15 million in new loans, $10-15 million in new deposits, and $200-300k in yearly fee income
• Conversational understanding of credit, with the ability to lend up to $50 million for specific entities
• Minimum Bachelor\'s degree is required
• Proficiency in Salesforce or similar software and advanced Excel skills
• Experience in high-end banking, preferably in private wealth management
• Strong social acumen and ability to engage effectively with clients
• Series 6 or Series 7 certification is preferred
