Talento, Inc. in Miami is seeking an AVP, Private Banker to manage a portfolio of high-net-worth clients with private banking and investment advisory needs. You will lead relationship management, drive deposits and assets growth, and work across international markets.

The AVP, Private Banker manages a portfolio of high-net-worth clients with moderately complex banking and investment needs. The role combines relationship management, private banking, and investment advisory responsibilities, with a strong focus on international banking and wealth management. The Private Banker is responsible for growing deposits and assets, generating new business, expanding existing relationships, and delivering a high level of client service.
Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining long-term client relationships, understanding financial needs, and providing appropriate banking and investment solutions. The role develops sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth objectives, identifies opportunities for cross-selling and referrals, and collaborates with wealth management, securities, commercial banking, and international banking teams to support clients across domestic and Latin American markets.
The position is also responsible for identifying and escalating credit, legal, regulatory, and operational risks; maintaining accurate and current KYC/CDD documentation; supporting client onboarding; and responding promptly to compliance and documentation requirements. Additional responsibilities include leveraging technology to improve efficiency, serving as backup for other relationship managers, completing required training, adhering to internal policies and procedures, and maintaining professional relationships with clients and colleagues.
Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience, along with more than five years of relevant experience in private banking, wealth management, investment advisory, or a similar financial-services role. Experience in international private banking or international wealth management is preferred.
FINRA Series 7 is required, with Series 66 preferred; Series 63 and 65 may be accepted in place of Series 66. Candidates should be bilingual in English and Spanish, possess strong relationship management, sales, presentation, and communication skills, and be proficient with Microsoft Office and relevant banking, CRM, compliance, and investment platforms. The role may require travel and flexibility to work outside standard business hours when business needs require.
