Bed Bath & Beyond is seeking a senior pricing leader to helm enterprise pricing strategy and governance. You will shape pricing frameworks, lead analytics, and drive revenue growth through informed pricing decisions across promotions and categories.
Collaborating with Merchandising, Planning, Marketing and Supply Chain, you will build a high-performing pricing organization and deliver data-driven insights that optimize margin and inventory productivity.

Develop and lead the enterprise-wide pricing strategy aligned with financial objectives, customer expectations, and brand positioning. Establish pricing frameworks, policies, and governance processes to ensure consistency and accountability. Drive strategic pricing decisions across regular price, promotional pricing, markdowns, clearance, and category-specific pricing initiatives. Balance revenue growth, market competitiveness, customer value perception, and profitability objectives.
Lead pricing analytics to identify opportunities for sales growth, margin improvement, and inventory productivity. Utilize data science, elasticity modeling, customer behavior analysis, and competitive intelligence to optimize pricing decisions. Implement and continuously refine pricing optimization tools and capabilities. Develop predictive models and reporting to support proactive pricing strategies.
Partner with Merchandising and Planning teams to design and evaluate promotional strategies. Oversee markdown optimization programs to maximize sell-through and margin recovery. Analyze promotional ROI and customer response to improve future campaign performance. Ensure pricing actions support inventory productivity and financial objectives.
Establish robust market monitoring processes to evaluate competitor pricing and promotional activity. Provide strategic recommendations regarding pricing position by category, brand, and channel. Monitor market trends, economic conditions, and consumer behaviors that may impact pricing strategy.
Partner closely with Merchandising, Planning & Allocation, Marketing, Digital, Store Operations, Finance, and Supply Chain leaders. Support assortment planning and inventory strategies through pricing insights and recommendations. Collaborate with Customer Experience teams to understand customer sentiment and pricing perceptions. Influence executive decision-making through compelling business cases and analytical insights.
Build, lead, and develop a high-performing pricing organization. Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, analytical rigor, and continuous improvement. Establish clear performance expectations and development plans for team members. Champion best practices in pricing analytics, reporting, and decision-making.
Lead evaluation and implementation of pricing technologies, automation tools, and advanced analytics platforms. Drive process improvements that enhance speed, accuracy, and scalability of pricing decisions. Partner with Technology teams to ensure pricing systems support business needs and future growth.
Physical Requirements: This position requires you to sit, stand and perform general office functions. You may also be required to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally. Bending, stooping and reaching are also frequently required.
