Vice President, Operations – Continuous Improvement, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma -- Aerospace/Defense/Military/Government - Private Equity

Our client is a growing middle‑market manufacturing/distribution enterprise with growing maintenance and repair services business serving the aerospace, defense, military and government sectors. The business has recently been acquired by a prominent, growth‑focused financial sponsor with plans to drive significant growth through organic and acquisitive means.

This is an entrepreneurial, hands‑on environment that requires a transformational, process‑oriented operations leader to drive lean manufacturing/ continuous improvement based transformational change in the organization. You will be mandated to professionalize operations and introduce data‑driven decision‑making with a focus on measurable accountability through the introduction of meaningful KPIs and dashboard analytics. You will oversee all day‑to‑day operations across multiple facilities and support significant growth as the business expands its geographic footprint on a national scale.

Ideally you will have experience spent in continuous improvement‑steeped corporate cultures and understand the nuances of the implementation of best practices, lean manufacturing and operational efficiency initiatives in middle‑market entrepreneurial contexts. You will showcase strong communications and leadership skills with the ability to mentor and transform culture in the operations function as you interface collaboratively across the organization.
