Ready to revolutionize K-12 education at lightning speed? 2 Hour Learning is embarking on an ambitious journey to launch 25-30 new school campuses in the next six months, and we're seeking exceptional leaders to spearhead this transformation.
Education
Our innovative educational model has proven that students can achieve a year's worth of academic growth in just two focused hours daily, leaving them free to pursue their passions. Now, we're scaling this success across multiple campuses, and we need visionary SVP-level leaders to drive our expansion in key areas:
- Regulatory Navigation & Compliance
- Campus Development & Infrastructure
- Systems Integration & Onboarding Excellence
- Financial Strategy & Operations
Backed by private equity and armed with a proven model, we're not just building schools – we're reimagining education. Our platform combines cutting-edge technology with personalized learning, creating an environment where both students and educators thrive.
This isn't your typical executive role. It's a chance to be at the forefront of educational innovation, working directly with founders and functional leads to shape the future of learning. If you're a strategic thinker who thrives on ownership and rapid execution, we want to talk to you.
What You Will Be Doing
Step into a role that matches your expertise and passion. Based on your background, you'll take command of one of these critical operational pillars:
- Champion regulatory compliance and navigate state/local approval processes with precision
- Orchestrate campus expansion initiatives, from construction management to vendor coordination
- Architect and implement robust student systems, ensuring seamless onboarding and support
- Drive financial excellence through strategic budgeting, modeling, and comprehensive reporting
This is a hands-on leadership position where you'll work across departments, drive initiatives, and deliver tangible results. Your decisions and actions will directly impact our national expansion strategy.
What You Won’t Be Doing
Let's be clear about what this role isn't:
- This isn't about following established procedures – you'll create the blueprint for success
- You won't be stuck in endless discussion loops – decisive leadership is key
- This isn't a single-site management position – you'll orchestrate multiple simultaneous launches
- No armchair leadership – expect high visibility and direct accountability
- You won't have the luxury of delegation when things get tough – you're the final decision-maker
Vice President Operations Key Responsibilities
Your primary mission is to drive excellence in your assigned operational track. You'll be the architect of success, responsible for delivering results that meet or exceed targets, maintaining timelines, and ensuring flawless execution. This role demands complete ownership of your domain, with the autonomy to make critical decisions and the accountability to stand behind them.
Basic Requirements
We're seeking exceptional leaders across multiple operational verticals who combine strategic thinking with execution excellence. Our ideal candidates will possess:
- A distinguished background with a top-tier strategy consulting firm (MBB or equivalent: Deloitte S&O, Strategy&, EY-Parthenon, LEK)
- Proven track record with 10+ years leading operations in complex, regulated environments
- Demonstrated expertise in at least one of these areas:
- Strategic navigation of public sector approval processes
- Multi-site launch management and vendor coordination
- Large-scale systems implementation and operational excellence
- Multi-entity financial management and strategic planning
- Proficiency with AI tools and emerging technologies
- Authorization to work in the U.S. and ability to travel 25% of the time
