Job summary

Metric DCX in Herndon, VA, is seeking an accomplished VP of Operations to lead data center project delivery, profitability, client relationships, and portfolio performance across multiple large-scale builds.

You will supervise executive-level project delivery, mentor PMs, SMs, and operations staff, and drive financial performance and risk management across the portfolio.

Qualifications

• 15-20+ years of construction leadership experience, including data center/mission-critical work.
• Proven track record delivering complex, large-scale GC projects.
• Experience leading multiple project teams and senior operations staff.
• Strong understanding of MEP, structural, and civil construction.
• Demonstrated ownership of project financials, schedules, and client relationships.
• Strong executive leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

The Role

We're supporting a Top-25 ENR-ranked national GC with an expanding data center portfolio in hiring multiple VP of Operations leaders. This executive will lead project delivery, profitability, client relationships, and operational performance across multiple large-scale data center projects.

Preferred

• Experience leading multiple simultaneous data center or hyperscale builds.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
