The ideal candidate will be a “blue-collar executive” and possess a blend of strong leadership, operational expertise, and industry knowledge tailored to business-to-business distribution. They will have an authentic and genuine leadership style characterized by integrity and transparency.

Summary of Key Responsibilities:

The VP will oversee daily operations across multiple locations, ensuring adherence to best practices in warehouse management, order fulfillment, and delivery services.

  • Contribute to the development and execution of long-term business strategies, expansion initiatives, and new service offerings to support strong company growth.
  • Work closely with sales, finance, and executive leadership to align operational goals with broader business objectives.
  • Improve processes by identifying and implementing strategies to optimize operational efficiency, adherence to standard operating procedures, space utilization, cost reduction, and enhancing customer satisfaction.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and vendors, ensuring the company provides unique service and value.
  • Take ownership and swiftly communicate solutions without hesitation.
  • Develop and manage operational budgets, resource allocation, and performance metrics to achieve financial and service targets.

  • Collaborate with the purchasing manager to create efficiencies and high-level improvements to ensure fast and precise order fulfillment.
  • Ensure all operations comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
  • Represent the company in national, state, and local organizations while participating in community service and professional development activities.

Leadership and Management:

  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Commitment to business ethics.
  • Proven track record in process optimization, team development, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Experience with technology-driven process improvements and supply chain innovations.
