Key Responsibilities:

As the VP of Sales, you will contribute to the sales strategy for HCLTech’s comprehensive portfolio of IT and Engineering Services, focusing on:

  • Shaping the strategic direction for a key global client, driving revenue growth and profitability.
  • Leading high-performance sales teams to develop and execute demand-generation strategies for innovative solution offerings.
  • Expanding existing accounts and closing large-scale, transformative deals by fostering trusted relationships with leaders and senior stakeholders.
  • Acting as a thought leader to enhance organizational capabilities, promote a performance-driven culture, and instill accountability and pride.
  • Building and nurturing senior executive relationships to position HCLTech as a trusted advisor.
  • Identifying and qualifying new opportunities, collaborating with account teams to drive consensus and win business.
  • Staying ahead of industry trends and technologies to inform market strategies and client solutions.
  • Leveraging business acumen to craft compelling, executive-level narratives that articulate value, ROI, and strategic trade-offs.
  • Ensuring disciplined sales forecasting and pipeline management to achieve ambitious targets.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • 20+ years of progressive experience in sales within the global HiTech industry, including engagements with tier-1 hyperscalers.
  • 10+ years of consultative sales experience in digital engineering and IT services, with a portfolio exceeding $100M.
  • Proven leadership in building and motivating high-performance sales teams.
  • Demonstrated success engaging C-suite stakeholders across business and technology domains.
  • Expertise in navigating complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles with a structured, consultative sales methodology.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience leveraging ROI-based approaches to quantify value.
  • Exceptional communication and storytelling skills to craft compelling executive narratives.
  • High energy, integrity, and a collaborative, action-oriented mindset with flexibility to adapt.
  • Willingness to travel as required to support clients and business needs.
  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States.
