Job summary

United Franchise Group is seeking a Vice President of Operations for Signarama in West Palm Beach, FL. The role leads operations and development across the franchise network, partnering with franchisees and executives to drive strategic initiatives and performance improvements.

The position requires extensive experience in franchise systems, financial acumen, and a proven ability to lead multi-location teams. Travel to trade shows and regional meetings will be needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education or 10+ years of related experience.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret financial statements and reports.
• Ability to present information to top management and boards of directors.
• Willing to travel for tradeshows, regional meetings, and other events.

About the Role:

The Vice President of Operations manages all activities related to operations and development of company products by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors. Vice President of Operations will be responsible for overseeing and driving the operational strategy, performance, and support systems for the franchise network. They will collaborate with franchisees, executive leadership, and internal teams to develop and execute operational solutions, support success and guide continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute long-term strategies to grow and optimize the Franchise system.
• Oversee franchise operations, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and high-quality service to improve profitability.
• Build strong relationships, share best practices to support and educate on operational strategies.
• Lead and develop training program to equip franchisees and staff with skills and knowledge needed.
• Monitor financial performance, identify opportunities for cost saving and drive initiatives to increase revenue and profitability for franchisee.
• Provide regular reports to executive leadership and franchisees, offering insights for improvement
• Resolve any challenges, disputes or issues that may arise ensuring a prompt and effective response.
• Ensure compliance with brand standards, operational procedures, and quality expectations across all locations.
• Deliver presentations, training sessions, and group discussions with confidence to engage stakeholders and effectively communicate key initiatives.
• Coach and support business owners in achieving operational excellence, driving performance, and implementing best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education from College or Technical school OR 10 or more years of related experience and/or training OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
• Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
• Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format.
• Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
• Ability to read, understand, and interpret a P&L statement.
• Proven experience managing and optimizing franchise operations and driving system-wide improvements in a multi-location business.
• Strong understanding of franchise systems, operations, and financials.
• In-depth knowledge of franchise laws, industry trends, and best practices in operations and compliance.
• Proficient computer skills including MS Office products and scheduling programs.
• Willing to travel as needed for Tradeshows, Regional Meetings, and other meetings as assigned.
• Experience in the Signage industry preferred.
