Job summary

Mondi Group in Missouri, USA, seeks an Operations Leader to supervise Safety, Environmental, Quality, Facilities, Maintenance and Engineering, and Manufacturing. You will drive continuous improvement and align operations with Mondi USA's mission and goals, leading cross-functional teams to deliver reliable performance.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 8–10 years in operations leadership; experience with blown film and flexible packaging is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead all operational areas including Safety, Environmental, Quality Systems, Facilities, Maintenance and Engineering, and Manufacturing
• Drive continuous improvement across all operational areas using agreed performance metrics
• Ensure products meet or exceed customer expectations through strong manufacturing practices and quality standards
• Improve products, processes, and procedures while optimizing use of human resources
• Achieve financial objectives by developing and managing budgets, controlling costs, and optimizing plant assets
• Oversee material movement, storage, purchasing systems, and inventory control
• Recruit, coach, and develop operations leadership to drive performance and accountability
• Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and company policies and procedures
• Report non-conforming materials and process deviations into the Non-Conformance Management System
• Contribute as a member of the senior management team by aligning cross-functional objectives and supporting strategic initiatives

Summary

The Operations Leader is responsible for managing all areas of Operations to meet or exceed company expectations, including Safety, Environmental, Quality Systems, Facilities, Maintenance and Engineering, and Manufacturing.
