Job summary

SBM Management Services, LP in California seeks a Vice President of Operations to oversee operations across the designated territory, directing activities in sales, operations, customer relations and adherence to corporate directives.

The role requires strategic leadership, policy development, and cross-functional coordination with senior executives; significant travel to customer sites and company facilities will be necessary.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, or a related field from a four-year college or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Must be able to drive to various work locations and customer sites.
• Serves on management committees for strategic initiatives.
• Significant travel will be required.

Roles & Responsibilities

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned. Participates in formulating and administering company policies and developing long range goals and objectives. Directs and coordinates activities of departments, key customers, regions or divisions for which responsibility is delegated to further attainment of goals and objectives. Reviews analyses of activities, costs, operations, and forecast data to determine department or division progress toward stated goals and objectives. Confers with EVP or COO, and other senior leadership personnel to review achievements and discuss required changes in goals or objectives resulting from current status and conditions. The ability to drive to various work locations, customer sites, or company facilities may be necessary to perform the essential functions of this position. Serves as member of management committees on strategic initiatives. Significant travel will be required for this position.
