Position Summary:

The Vice President of Key Accounts will drive strategic vision and leadership to grow and develop trust, relationships, and sales with key customers and within their communities. The Vice President of Key Accounts is responsible for achieving maximum profitable sales within existing and new customers across multiple channels, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure a cohesive approach to customer relationship management. Additionally, the Vice President of Key Accounts will identify new market opportunities, drive innovative strategies, and set high-level performance metrics to ensure the overall success of the key accounts team.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive business and strategic growth plans for established key accounts and new channel opportunities, ensuring alignment with the company's long-term goals.
  • Provide senior leadership to TEAm, supporting their growth and development.
  • Lead, coach, and mentor Senior Directors and Directors of Key Accounts and drive TEAm alignment with company strategy, vision, and priorities.
  • Review and analyze account sales and market reports weekly to uncover specific opportunities, develop strategic action plans, and drive data-driven decision-making.
  • Oversee and coordinate activities to strengthen brand awareness, enhance customer engagement, and ensure the achievement of the Sales Plan.
  • Provide strategic oversight for forecasting expected sales volume and profit for both existing and new products and customers, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business objectives.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of sales volume, product mix, and pricing strategies by staying current with supply and demand trends, economic indicators, and competitor activities.
  • Collaborate closely with Milo’s Retail Sales Team and other departments to identify opportunities, set objectives, and drive customer success through a unified approach.
  • Develop and implement innovative sales strategies and pitches, leveraging relationships to ensure effective retail execution and category success.
  • Ensure high-level buyer engagement through regular executive sales presentations, strategic store walk-throughs, and proactive communication of sales opportunities to senior management.
  • Upholds and demonstrates leadership in all Corporate Responsibility programming including recycling, social advocacy, and MMAD volunteering opportunities.
  • This position has food safety responsibilities.
  • Other responsibilities, as necessary.

Supervisory:

  • This position has supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related field.
  • Advanced degree in business, marketing or related field or an MBA preferred.
  • 14+ years related sales/account experience.
  • 10 years CPG related experience.
