Our Daily Bread Ministries seeks a strategic Vice President of Global Finance to lead the worldwide finance function and ensure prudent resource stewardship. Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in a relevant field.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive accounting/finance leadership experience.
• Experience in global or multinational organizations preferred.
• Strong knowledge of accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and governance.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive leadership for global finance, establishing policies, procedures, and controls across ministry entities.
• Coordinate consolidation and reporting of financial information from global entities.
• Analyze financial performance including budgets, cash flow, and FX considerations.
• Communicate insights to executive leadership, board, and stakeholders.
• Lead finance directors and global teams in budgeting, staffing, and development.
• Coordinate annual budgeting and global planning activities.
• Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory reporting across jurisdictions.
• Oversee audits and continuous improvement of accounting systems and processes.
• Participate in committees and cross-functional initiatives.

Our Daily Bread Ministries is seeking a Vice President of Global Finance to provide strategic leadership for the ministry's worldwide finance function. This executive leader will ensure the effective stewardship of resources, financial integrity, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence across a diverse global ministry serving more than 150 countries and over 58 languages. Based on the ministry's finance strategy and organizational objectives, this role partners closely with executive leadership, regional leaders, and global finance teams to support sustainable growth and maximize ministry impact.

Through visionary leadership, sound financial management, and commitment to biblical stewardship, you will help ensure resources are managed wisely to support global Bible engagement and discipleship efforts.

What You'll Do

• Provide executive leadership for the global finance function, establishing and maintaining accounting and finance policies, procedures, and controls across all ministry entities.
• Coordinate the collection, consolidation, and reporting of financial information from global entities, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timely reporting.
• Analyze financial performance, including budget-to-actual results, product cost evaluations, liquidity management, cash flow forecasting, and foreign exchange considerations.
• Communicate key financial insights and recommendations to executive leadership, the Finance Committee, Board members, and organizational stakeholders.
• Provide leadership and strategic direction to finance directors and global finance teams in planning, budgeting, staffing, professional development, and administrative practices.
• Coordinate the annual budgeting process and support timely completion of global budget planning activities.
• Ensure compliance with statutory, tax, corporate, and regulatory reporting requirements across all jurisdictions in which the ministry operates.
• Lead and coordinate annual audits, including U.S. and global audits, ensuring timely completion and adherence to local requirements.
• Drive standardization and continuous improvement of accounting systems, ERP platforms, chart of accounts, financial reporting processes, and global accounting practices.
• Participate on key committees, including investment and employee benefit oversight groups, and contribute to cross-functional initiatives that advance ministry objectives.
• Oversee insurance coverage reviews, treasury functions, cash management, and intercompany funding strategies.

What You Bring

Education & Experience

• Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field; equivalent combination of education and significant relevant experience may be considered.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive accounting and finance leadership experience, including team leadership and management of complex financial operations.
• Experience within a global or multinational organization strongly preferred.
• Deep knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, internal controls, risk management, and governance.
• Experience with ERP systems, financial reporting solutions, and business analytics tools.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft 365 suite.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate complex financial information effectively to executive leaders, boards, and diverse stakeholders.
• Strong leadership, collaboration, strategic thinking, and decision-making skills.
• Willingness and ability to travel internationally (approximately 10-25% annually).
