Vice President of Franchise Development

Position Overview
The Franchise Development Representative will lead the franchise recruitment process and serve as a key liaison between prospective franchisees and UDT leadership. This role involves qualifying leads, managing relationships, conducting Discovery Day activities, and ensuring the seamless onboarding of new franchise partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-person meetings and provide timely updates to the Vice President of Sales.
- Coordinate with internal departments (legal, operations, training, marketing, finance) to support new franchisee onboarding.
- Manage all candidate documentation via CRM tools (e.g., FranConnect).
- Generate and present weekly pipeline reports to senior leadership.
- Achieve sales goals for both single-unit and regional development agreements.
- Develop franchisee leads using population and demographic targeting.
- Discuss the Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD) with candidates, ensuring understanding of compliance standards and performance expectations.
- Attend milestone events with new franchisees.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 5–10 years in franchise sales or franchise development.
- Proficiency with FranConnect or similar CRM platforms.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to build relationships and deliver top-tier service.
- Comfortable in self-directed roles and public speaking scenarios.
- Understanding of franchise legal documents and compliance protocols.
- High level of personal integrity and a strong drive for excellence.
- Ability to travel to Costa Mesa, CA for key events and meetings.
Compensation
- Starting at $100,000+ annually, based on performance.
Final compensation will reflect experience, skills, industry knowledge, and location.
