Fogo de Chão seeks a VP of Financial Planning & Analysis to drive performance insights and financial discipline. You will lead budgeting, forecasting, and investor relations, coordinating with restaurant leadership and executive teams to support growth and capital strategy.

The role requires a decade in Corporate Finance/FP&A with strong modeling, communication, and leadership skills, based at our Addison, TX office. On-site collaboration with teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting is required; CPA preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in Corporate Finance, FP&A, and Investor Relations.
• Experience in restaurant or retail sector is a plus.
• Strong Excel and financial modeling skills; proficiency with financial systems.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.

Position Summary:

The Vice President of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) serves as a key strategic partner to the executive leadership team, driving performance insights, financial discipline, and transparent communication with investors. This role leads the company’s financial planning processes, capital strategy, operational finance oversight, and investor relations efforts. The VP will manage a high-performing team, influence data-driven decisions, and serve as a strategic liaison between Fogo and the investment community.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic & Financial Planning

Lead the development, preparation, and presentation of the company’s financial outlook and long-term strategic plans. Direct the annual budgeting and forecasting processes in collaboration with department and restaurant leadership teams. Monitor financial performance against budget and forecast; conduct ad hoc analysis to support enterprise-wide strategic initiatives. Guide cash forecasting, capital planning, and treasury functions, including international cash management and repatriation strategies. Ensure compliance with financial covenants and contribute to optimal capital structure planning. Provide leadership for M&A modeling, investment evaluations, and board-facing reporting. Drive portfolio modeling, scenario planning, and expense management in support of company growth goals.

Operational Finance Oversight

Oversee field-level financial analysis and operational reporting, ensuring consistency and alignment with corporate strategy. Review and validate business case modeling for menu pricing, marketing campaigns, and culinary innovation initiatives. Guide the development of restaurant-level reporting and tools to support GMs and operations leadership in data-driven decision-making. Lead performance reviews tied to P&L results, line-item insights, and key operational benchmarks. Mentor and support the Finance Manager to ensure analytical outputs effectively inform strategic and operational decisions.

Investor Relations

Develop and execute a proactive investor relations strategy, aligning financial communication with corporate goals. Prepare quarterly earnings materials, investor presentations, lender reports, and public disclosures. Organize and manage investor communications, earnings calls, conferences, and roadshows. Serve as the primary contact for investor and lender inquiries, ensuring transparency and building trust with external stakeholders. Monitor industry trends and competitor performance to shape investor messaging and strategic positioning.

Compensation:

Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience and qualifications.

This position is fully on-site at our Addison, TX office.
