Job summary

Fogo de Chão in Richmond, VA is seeking an experienced Restaurant Assistant Manager to lead daily operations, supervise the restaurant team, and ensure exceptional guest service. You will use OpenTable to manage reservations, uphold safety and training standards, and drive inventory and cost controls.

Ideal candidates will have 5 years of restaurant ops and 3 years churrasco knowledge, a high school diploma (bachelor's preferred), and a track record of coaching teams.

Qualifications

  • 5 years restaurant operations experience; 3 years churrasco knowledge preferred.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree in hotel/restaurant management desirable.
  • Proficient in food planning, purchasing, sanitation, security, policies and reporting.

Restaurant Assistant Manager

In this role you will:

  • Advise and supervise restaurant team members.

Education, Experience & Travel Required

5 years restaurant operations, and 3 years churrasco and churrascaria cuisine knowledge preferred. High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Bachelor’s degree in hotel/restaurant management is desirable. Combination of experience and education will be considered. Proficient in food planning and preparation, purchasing, sanitation, security, company policies and procedures, personnel management, recordkeeping, and preparation of reports. Occasional travel required.

Physical Demands

The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Must have a high level of endurance and mental acuity and toughness to manage conflict and deal successfully with high stress situations.

Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance are available for full-time Team Members on the first of the month following their start date. Additionally, company-paid Life Insurance and Short-Term Disability are provided where allowed. This position has a pay range that starts at $60,000.00 and goes up to $80,000.00. Your rate is dependent upon your relevant work experience.
