Wilton Re is seeking an individual to join its Business Development team as Vice President, reporting to the Co-Head of Business Development. This role will serve as an integrated member of our Business Development team with primary responsibility for industry coverage and the origination of new opportunities (the “VP of Client Coverage”).This person will also work very closely with Wilton Re’s Group CEO and US CEO on industry facing and public facing meetings. The VP of Client Coverage will be both a strategic thinker and a practical hands‑on executor—able to advise on market trends, individual company strategies, competition and the makeup of transactions at a high level while also rolling up their sleeves and engaging directly in detailed analysis, as needed.
The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in the insurance and financial services market as well as experience in managing coverage programs, contributing/ leading discussions at client companies and managing deal processes for reinsurance/ M&A transactions. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, less structured but collaborative environment and has experience driving client discussions toward transactions.
Undergrad; MBA, CFA, Actuarial certifications helpful but not necessary

Base salary/hourly rate range for this position in Connecticut is between $180,000 and $240,000. Please note that specific compensation decisions are based upon a variety of job‑related factors as permitted by law, including geographic location, credentials, skills, education, training and experience.
