About the Role

The Company is in search of a Vice President of Accounting/Corporate Controller to join their team. The successful candidate will be instrumental in defining and executing the financial strategy, ensuring the organization’s financial stability, and overseeing all accounting operations. This pivotal role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities, including financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and the implementation of robust financial and accounting systems to support sustainable and compliant growth.
Key responsibilities for the Vice President of Accounting/Corporate Controller include designing and implementing a finance and accounting organizational structure that aligns with business needs, leading the strategic financial planning and budgeting process, and managing cash flow, working capital, and capital allocation strategies. The role also involves the transition to industry-specific ERP software, the development of a culture of accountability and transparency within the finance and accounting department, and the provision of actionable financial insights to guide decision-making at all levels. The ideal candidate will have a degree in accounting or finance, at least 10 years’ of progressive accounting experience, and a minimum of 5 years’ in a Controller or CFO role. Strong expertise in accounting functions, auditing experience, proficiency in QuickBooks and other ERP systems, and in-depth knowledge of GAAP accounting are essential.
The Vice President of Accounting/Corporate Controller will be expected to have a proven track record in financial planning and analysis, be capable of performing budgeting and forecasting tasks, and possess the skills necessary to identify and mitigate financial risks. The role requires a leader who can not only manage the financial aspects of the organization but also contribute to its strategic growth and ensure that all financial operations are in line with industry standards and best practices.
