A team focused engineer with experience building large scale systems. You have extensive experience with spine and leaf networks, automation, and design experience.
- Designing and maintaining a highly available EVPN‑VXLAN spine and leaf network.
- Implementing a micro‑segmented network security posture.
- Design and implement a monitoring system that will include a dark fiber network.
- Design and implement an Infrastructure as Code methodology around networking components.
- Design and maintain perimeter networking devices in a highly secure posture.
- Experience managing Juniper network devices.
- Experience with Juniper Apstra and Mist.
- Extensive experience with BGP.
- Experience with Terraform for network provisioning.
- Experience with Palo‑Alto firewalls.
- Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems (e.g., RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu).
- Understanding of security best practices, including access controls, encryption, and vulnerability management.
- Familiarity with cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Containerd).
- Strong scripting skills in languages like Python, Bash, or Perl.
- Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills.
- Experience with version control systems (Git, SVN).
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
- Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
