Job description

About CINQCARE

CINQCARE is an innovative health and care company on a mission to eliminate barriers and improve care in high-need, urban and rural communities. CINQCARE’s purpose is to improve the health and well-being of those who need care the most—in their homes and communities. Guided by our values of Trusted, Empathetic, Committed, Humble, Creative, and Community-Minded, we are committed to delivering person-centered care that creates meaningful, lasting impact.

Overview

The Vice President of Marketing Communications and Brand Advancement leads CINQCARE’s day-to-day brand, marketing, and communications strategy in support of the organization’s mission to deliver health and care where people live. This role requires a collaborative, execution-focused leader who thrives in a fast-paced, rapidly scaling environment and demonstrates the ability to navigate ambiguity, lead through change, and translate evolving priorities into clear, actionable strategies.

The Vice President defines and advances CINQCARE’s visual identity, creative strategy, and enterprise narrative, driving customer engagement, strengthening brand awareness, and ensuring consistent, high‑impact communications across all audiences, regional teams, and channels, both internally and externally. The role oversees integrated marketing operations, organizational messaging, thought leadership, multi‑channel storytelling, earned and paid media, issues and crisis communications, and marketing‑related customer engagement. This position ensures cohesive brand alignment across the enterprise, directly supports community engagement efforts, and plays a key leadership role in shaping how CINQCARE shows up during periods of rapid growth and transformation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evolve CINQCARE’s messaging framework and positioning, ensuring clear, consistent, audience‑specific communication across providers, payors, Family Members, and internal teams.
  • Lead the development, execution, and measurement of a comprehensive marketing and communications strategy aligned to CINQCARE’s mission. Oversee visual identity, multimedia production, website and digital experience, graphic design, social media, content, media relations, and internal communications to ensure a modern, high‑performance user experience.
  • Build and standardize frameworks, toolkits, presentations, and processes that enable teams to self‑service, and deliver high‑impact work at scale.
  • Modernize CINQCARE’s marketing communications engine by implementing AI‑ and automation‑driven workflows that materially increase speed to market, consistency, and effectiveness. Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, website development, SEO and CMS platforms required.
  • Design and execute integrated marketing, thought leadership and PR strategies—across traditional, digital, events, and social channels—to strengthen relationships with key audiences and elevate CINQCARE’s leadership presence.
  • Lead all aspects of public and media relations, serving as a trusted counsel to senior leaders on reputation, issues management, and communications strategy. Draft, pitch, and place top‑tier press releases, bylined articles, and speaking opportunities, while managing ongoing relationships with media, analysts, and key influencers.
  • Lead and consult on all community relations and reputation building efforts to ensure CINQCARE maintains credibility and trust across the markets we serve. Serve as on‑call spokesperson when needed to protect and advance CINQCARE’s reputation.
  • Plan and manage paid media campaigns and advertising investments, ensuring message consistency, brand integrity, and measurable ROI.
  • Own CINQCARE’s enterprise brand governance, ensuring all functions and markets consistently apply brand standards and deliver a unified experience.
  • Develop and manage an enterprise communications calendar aligned to clinical launches, community activations, and executive moments—executing with precision across teams.
  • Drive internal communications strategy to align employees with CINQCARE’s mission, strengthen culture, and support executive visibility.
  • Define and track KPIs—including media mentions, share of voice, sentiment, and engagement metrics—building dashboards and coaching the team on data‑driven optimizations.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, Journalism, Marketing, or related field (Master’s preferred)
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in a senior management role, holding progressively responsible positions in marketing and communications for nonprofit, corporate, and/or agency organizations. Healthcare knowledge is a bonus.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (e.g., "Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook") with solid understanding of key marketing and communication tools (e.g., Web Content Management Systems, email systems, Google Analytics and other web metrics, Adobe Creative Suite, Tableau, etc.).
  • A builder mindset – you invent new models of brand‑building rather than relying on traditional ones.
  • Proven success at developing and implementing traditional, digital marketing and social media strategies to enhance visibility, engagement, and loyalty and achieve KPIs.
  • Innovative thinker, with a track record for translating strategic thinking into action plans and results. Proven ability to build and deliver with speed.
  • Proven ability to set communications strategy while remaining hands‑on with writing, editing, and message development.
  • Exceptional writer and editor with strong command of brand voice, executive positioning, and storytelling
  • Demonstrated success in media and stakeholder engagement, including press relations and reputation management
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to mentor and develop a small team and elevate best practices
  • Expertise in measurement, next‑gen tooling to help teams move fast.
Working Environment and Physical Requirements

In‑office work is performed indoors in a traditional office setting with air conditioning, artificial light, and an open workspace.

In this position you will need to communicate with customers, vendors, management, and other co‑workers in person and over devices, sometimes with people who are agitated. Regular use of the telephone and e‑mail for communication is essential. Sitting for extended periods is common. Must be able to receive ordinary information and to prepare or inspect documents. Lifting of up to 10 lbs. occasionally may be required. Good manual dexterity for the use of common office equipment such as computer terminals, calculator, copiers, and FAX machines. Good reasoning ability is important. Able to understand and utilize management reports, memos, and other documents to conduct business.
