Vice President Market Research Business Development

Compensation: $150,000.00/yr - $170,000.00/yr + uncapped commission

Location: Remote, US

A top tier custom research firm is looking for a Vice President to join their organization. If you are looking for a cross functional role focused on custom project creation and new client development, this could be a great fit for you!

Responsibilities:
  1. Identify business opportunities among new and existing clients: maintain and grow the business year after year.
  2. Independently implement new lead generation.
  3. Write proposals that address the clients' business issues.
  4. Lead client meetings when necessary.
  5. Present analyses to clients.
  6. Develop new sales materials specific to their respective industry, if needed.
  7. Manage staff to ensure projects are on track and analyses are insightful.
Qualifications/Requirements:
  1. Knowledge of a variety of different Quantitative and Qualitative research methods.
  2. Broad and deep understanding of various design approaches and/or ability to tap into resources within the company to ensure research designs are on target.
  3. Commitment to learning.
  4. At least 10 years in a custom research supplier or consultancy.
