Job summary

Morgan Stanley Services Group, Inc. seeks a Vice President, Software Engineer in New York, NY to design and develop large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded software applications, tools, systems, and services for onboarding trading workflows across asset classes, including equity and options.

You will design and implement Order State Management components for trading platforms, participate in scrums, and coordinate deliverables with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Master’s in Applied Computer Science, Computer Science, Educational Technology, or related field of study.
• Three years of experience in the position offered or three years as an Assistant Manager Technology, Technology Lead, Systems Project Manager, Technology Specialist, or related occupation in the technology field.
• Bachelor’s degree in related field with five years of experience in lieu of Master’s and three years of experience in related occupation in the technology field.

What you’ll bring to the role:

-The employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Computer Science, Computer Science, Educational Technology, or related field of study and five (5) years of experience as an Assistant Manager Technology, Technology Lead, Systems Project Manager, Technology Specialist, or related occupation in the technology field in lieu of a Master’s degree and three (3) years of experience

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $198,000 and $210,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
