We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven technology leader to join a large, complex organization as Vice President, IT Product Delivery. This executive will be accountable for the successful delivery of enterprise and customer-facing technology products aligned to strategic business objectives.
This role leads cross-functional teams spanning product management, engineering, project delivery, and business stakeholders to ensure seamless execution, innovation, and measurable business outcomes. The position offers the opportunity to operate in a collaborative, fast-paced environment where technology directly enables growth, operational excellence, and customer experience.
This is both a leadership and hands-on role, requiring deep subject matter expertise across all areas of responsibility and a proven ability to deliver business value through technology. The successful candidate will oversee internal teams and third-party partners, manage significant technology investments, and operate as a trusted member of the senior leadership team. The role provides direct visibility to executive leadership and requires exceptional leadership, communication, and decision-making capabilities.
What You’ll Do:
The Vice President of IT Product Delivery is a key leadership role responsible for leading the delivery of technology solutions across the enterprise through a product-based IT operating model.
Each product team under this leader’s guidance will include Product Owners, Business Analysts, Project Managers, Application Developers, Quality Assurance specialists, Technical Architects, DevOps professionals, and Data Analysts. This role drives alignment between IT and business strategy, promotes agile, outcome-based delivery principles, and ensures projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Delivery Excellence
- Define and implement development methodologies, delivery standards, KPIs, and outcome-based release schedules
- Ensure agility, responsiveness, and quality across the full product lifecycle—from discovery and planning through deployment and support
- Drive consistency in backlog management, sprint planning, release cycles, and stakeholder engagement
Business Partnership & Strategy
- Serve as the primary liaison between IT and business unit leadership across product areas
- Translate business needs into actionable technology roadmaps and delivery plans
- Ensure teams are appropriately resourced, aligned, and prioritized to meet enterprise objectives
Operational Oversight
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation across the product portfolio
- Ensure architecture, DevOps, and analytics capabilities are embedded within product teams
- Promote scalable, secure, and modern technology platforms and delivery practices (e.g., CI/CD, cloud-native development, APIs)
- Hybrid work environment with four days per week in-office (Pittsburgh, PA) and one remote day
- Office-based role requiring extended computer use and standard office equipment operation
- Sedentary work with occasional light physical activity
- Low to moderate noise environment

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred
- 15+ years of IT experience, including 7+ years in senior leadership roles delivering enterprise technology solutions
- Proven experience leading product-based IT organizations or large-scale agile product teams
- Expertise across multiple business domains, particularly retail, digital commerce, and operational technologies
- Strong working knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and DevOps methodologies
- Demonstrated success in executive stakeholder engagement, roadmap development, and large-scale delivery execution
- Executive-level leadership presence with the ability to influence senior and cross-functional stakeholders
- Exceptional communication, planning, and organizational change management skills
- High emotional intelligence with the ability to lead high-performing, multidisciplinary teams
- Results-oriented mindset focused on measurable business impact, customer experience, and continuous improvement
